Hey i cant run photoshop cs3 on my laptop as it has ony 256 mb ram so can you people tell me which version to use?

I’ve Microsoft Expression Design 2 and the image link in my siggy is what I tried to make my signature. Please tell me how to incorporate it as my signature first then tell me how to improve it? Keep in mind the fact that I’m complete n00b at it and t was a result of random clicks.
