Best fitness tracker/ Has anyone tried Whoop 4.0

I currently have the Amazfit Bip 3 pro, bought it 3 years ago as it was recommended as the best fitness tracker and the best bang for buck. But it has not been the most reliable.

I am not looking for a smartwatch but something that can accurately track my steps and heart rate and also sleep. Budget is not set but under 10 or 15k would be nice.

Also should I consider a ring?

And lastly has anyone tried the Whoop 4.0 or know anyone who has?

Thank you for your time.

Bought a Google fitbit inspire 2 for 6k last year as I was also looking for a budget option. Has been working great with no issues till now. Accuracy of metrics like step, sleep and heartrate is top notch for me personally.

What’s the ip rating, can I wear it while swimming?

Whoop is a subscription service. And one of the most expensive one.

You can get the whoop band at their asking price or the same thing from eBay at next to nothing. But you need to pay up for subscription.

They claim to be water resistant but most reviews complain about their product getting bricked after swimming. I personally have worn it during showers with no issue but have never went swimming with it as I dont know how to swim XD

They do give a year of subscription along with the band, and from what I have read they do seem to offer the best tracking. Also no screen is a plus for me.

I am not a fan of the subscription model but maybe later down the line there can be a way to bypass that. Either way I haven’t come across anyone here who can personally vouch for it so I am a bit iffy on it.

Best tracking? Yes. Whoop is sort of a benchmark.

I have wasted some time on this very question. No, there doesn’t seem to be a bypass. It’s also why eBay is flooded with these. People buy them and then realize they don’t want yet another subscription.

You won’t find many in India. I wanted to get it for myself but made peace with myself by getting a Samsung watch.

What about the Ultrahuman ring air? Is it any good?

Also should I just get a used Apple watch?

The ring is bit overpriced in my opinion, also it isn’t that great as an activity tracker also.

The Apple looses a lot of functionality on Android so if you have an iPhone that is the best choice but for pretty much anything else I would suggest you get a chest strap for heart beat measuring and link it to strava and use the Bip 3 for step counting and all other functions.

I don’t have an iPhone and don’t plan on ever getting one, so I guess I will look at the Polar H10 as that is what has been recommended in reviews the most.

Isn’t that just a HR monitor?

Yeah but if you link it to strava it can help calculate calories. What is bad on my watch is the heart rate calculation due to the optical sensor, it calculates steps and pace pretty well since it has built in gps.
