Better media sharing support for images, GIFs and short videos.

Everytime I try to share a short video or GIF in any of the gaming and food threads, Imgur goes to shit. The service has been experiencing problems since the start of the year and Jiofiber even blocked it a month or two ago for no apparent reasons…

It would be great if there could be media embed support for much better services other than GIPHY and Imgur. GIFs make the most sense as uploading to YT for sharing a short video is a chore tbh.

One other forum I frequent uses [ImagePond](’

) in their media embed as well, don’t know how popular it is, but it supports 50MB files so it covers most of the GIFs and images.
Maybe the mods can check it out. I request other users to suggest similar websites for video sharing embed as well.

you can upload images on imgur? Imgur has blocked atleast Jio IPs from uploading anything (attachment 1), and you cant even sign in/sign up (attachment 2). I have mostly started using imgbb for quick sharing of images

Gifs work fine on this site if you link them via BB code. No need to download or upload, just copy gif link from giphy and paste here in BB code format.

Also this saves server space, imagine every guy here uploading 50MB gifs, it will be disaster.
