my 7600GT AGP which i bought from digimini312 (AUG 07) went dead suddenly yesterday night. so i went to the shop from where it was bought and he directed me to BBC serv. centre.

**i told him the prob and he checked in less than 2 mins and offered me a new card! at the 5th minute, i was outta the serv. centre after signing the register :blush: **

got a used card and it got damaged and got a new card in return! thats call the best value for money :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

+1 ..infact +2…happenned 2 times…time spent @ the service center was less than 10 mins…and got a free upgrade tooo :face_with_tongue: …took a dead fx5200 and got a new fx5500 :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

damn i m thinking to screw my 6600gt and than get replace it and sell it market section…guys how to screw it???lol

but can i ask for replacement as its fan has become too lousy/loudy

I had a BIG 66600GT which died after 1.5years of use, and I took it back to Prime and they sent it across to BIG who took a few days to give a brand new card as replacement (I was told BIG did not have a 6600GT in stock at that moment), I am using this replacement card right now, this 6600GT came with a Zalman cooler on it and it idles at 42C !!! The previous 6600GT card used to idle around 55C+

the only thing they need is the barcode on the card.. even the BBC told me that they will replace my 2 years old dead card! so expect FS:6600GT NEW card thread :slight_smile:

hmm…but dude its working card..if i screw and if they dont give than ill b screwed …give a tip to self screw it and if they doesnt replace i bring it bak to life…lol…

But still what do u think if i cry in front of them for that loud fan will they replace???

They do test the card before replacement, my card was dead on my computer but worked on theirs, but I was adamant about getting the card replaced and they finally agreed to replace it. If they find any burn marks or other physical damage you will be so out of luck :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

+1 for BBC had a prob with my bro’s 6600GT and they replaced it within mins …he din get a new one..he got a refurbished one…with a quieter fan and lower temps

one question what about the quality???
i havent used BIG but used XFX..
XFX card of mine never gave any problem??
so why to waste time n money + energy going to service center n getting it replace?
it was good for nVidiaBeast as he got new one replaced for secondhand originally purchased by dinesh!!
so next time i will make sure ,whenever i plan to buy second hand card will prefer BIG and later will get it replaced even if its working well

all other component manufacturers should learn from big byte corp. if their customers are happy, naturally they will be happy :slight_smile: once again dont cheat BBC. actions of a few ppl will stamp the entire community as cheaters…im sure no one here at TE will want that.
