Buying laptop in 60-80k range

Few months ago I asked here for help in buying my first pc and I really liked the advices.

So a friend of mine wants to buy a laptop in the range of 50k-80k.

His requirements:

Video editing

Gaming

Day to day work

Reasonable cost (value worth)

He is a college student and not a try hard gamer, basically one of those who think gta v has the most realistic graphics.

He video edits so that be main requirement and being able to play most games with reasonable frames.

While I do have good knowledge when it comes to pc part, I lack the knowledge for laptop design in terms of heat management, battery etc. so I hope you guys can help me

That’s a huge range. You should ask him to narrow it down. You can get a 3050 to 5050 within this range.

Yeah, but isn’t it’s better to have flexible room? Basically if something worth the extra cost then he don’t mind paying.

I really looking around 60k but if there a laptop that provide better value and cost a little more, there is definitely head room

Only a few laptop are available with 3050 6gb under 70k and almost all of them don’t have 100% srgb coverage. Only consider looking under 70k if you friend already has a moniter with 100%srgb or more coverage.
