Can this POE splitter power IPCam

Can these type of passive POE injectors and splitters used to power VIGI cameras(they support 12v input along with POE) . I dont want to purchase POE switch for just one camera.

Those are passive injectors/splitters and are typically limited to 10mbit or 100mbit.

Some VIGI cameras will work with passive poe, you’ll need to look at the specifications for your particular model.

A POE switch is a decent investment, like a quality UPS. It’ll open up so many possibilities.

Max. Power Consumption
12V DC: Max 5W
PoE: Class 0
Power Supply
12V DC ± 5%, 5.5mm Coaxial Power Plug
PoE (802.3af/at, class 0)

They support 12v input, So even if it wouldn’t work with POE at rj45, it must work at 12v port?

Can I buy 10/100 Switch or just use this splitter method

Yes, you can buy a 10/100 POE switch, if you don’t want to connect an access point to it in the future. It will work fine for your CCTV needs as they expand. I would recommend buying at least an 8-port switch as they are a little more costly than 4 port switches, but have double the ports.

This will work, it’s what I used with one of my TAPO cameras. You’ll be limited to 50m or so.

Then I bought a 4 port POE switch.

Then another 4 port POE switch.

And now I want one more.

Or, you could have started with an 8 port POE as I recommended. You don’t listen @rsaeon . Neither is this assistant commissioner of police @ACP going to listen. He will go through the same cycle. This set of splitter with a 12 V supply followed by a 4 port POE followed by another 4 port POE.

Or, maybe he will listen to both of us @rsaeon and go to the 8 port POE now and use his CCTV setup for 10 years increasing cameras one by one.
