I am building a new pc. By the day it will be used for office purpose which includes running softwares like tally, compuoffice(a third party software used by CA’s for all the compliances), ms office. By the night it will be used for light gaming, some 3d modelling for 3d printing and I also plan to test waters with localised AI. This the specs that I have thought of but nothing has been bought till now so I have room for modifications. Suggestions are well appreciated.
Ram was actually a placeholder brand. I was more concerned with the specs of the ram and that was the cheapest brand on pc part picker so I chose that.
Looks relatively fine, except the mobo & RAM that I highlighted earlier.
RAM & SSD - buy from Amazon during the sale
GPU - if interested in AI, 5060Ti 16GB might be worth the extra 10k but not like 9060XT can’t run AI models (will be slower vs Nvidia, that’s all). Nvidia is generally considered better for productivity.
I don’t use credit card or any online payment. I prefer cash payments only. I have ordered it and the delivery is 1st of Oct so I time to cancel as well if I get a better deal
Unless you are someone who don’t have the discipline to maintain a CC, you are just losing out on money on everything that you pay online on Amazon, FK, Myntra, Swiggy, Zomato, etc. All of them would have accounted for CC fees in their prices already.
I’m not sure if what I think is right, But I bought a lot of computer parts from an online store in Delhi. The online store had a 2% discount if you paid directly to bank account and shared SS on WhatsApp.
Yes that’s the most probable reason in this case and if they are giving you random bank accounts not linked to the shop in any form then something more is also involved, iykyk.
Yup, every businessman wants to save on fees and taxes. Even the Kirayana shop near my house has UPI in 5-6 Different names to spread out the payments.
everything is lit, this build looks pretty solid with the Ryzen 5 9600X and RX 9060 XT, should handle gaming and stuff really well. Just make sure the case has good airflow and maybe get a better cooler for the CPU.
