Can't access my Huawei SmartAX MT880 ADSL Router

I have tried 192.168.1.1
It just says that page not found. I think I need to reset the whole modem but unfortunately, pressing the reset button doesn’t change anything. I still can’t access it. I know it’s the little button that has to be pressed with a pen or something.
Tell me how I can reset this router. What if the reset button is broken? Can I open it and short some circuit and then see?

ur gateway IP isnt set as 192.168.1.1…chng that and try..(if u’ve selected automatically detect settings…chng it manually and try..)

sometimes windows messes up the settings and does that. I just created a new windows user ID , logged into that , and it was acessible :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

It’s inaccessible, both from windows and linux.

Even if I did, it should go back to default when I press the reset button. Right?

Pressing the reset button isnt that simple :face_with_tongue:

try a couple of things:

  1. keep it pressed for 5-10seconds and then reboot.

  2. keep button pressed while switching it on. (again ~10seconds)

Set your LAN ip to 192.168.1.100 and access the router by 192.168.1.1

How? Tell in Linux or M$ windows XP please.

in windows…Go to network places → properties n ur corres LAN prop → chng the IP in TCP/IP settings
