For those who are not aware, this is darn good old school co-op beat-em-up/hack-en-slash title. Don’t let those cute characters fool you, each of them pack a secret power. I had a blast with this title on the 360 with my brother. You guys should definitely try it, once it’s on the PC.

Release date isn’t finalised but that’s alright, I’ll inform my roommate to dust his controller and keep it ready when it is due. It’s been a while since we played a good co-op title. I think the last one we enjoyed thoroughly was Renegade Ops.
This was the second title I had played after the amazing Scott Pilgrim V/S The World. XBLA titles always kick-ass for co-op. These small titles pack a huge punch. If Ubisoft could port Scott Pilgrim with online play via steam, then the PC owners are in for a treat. Nevertheless, I’m sure you’ll have a dam good time with Castle Crashers.
It does have RPG elements, but not in a dense manner. It’s mild and easy to handle. This is a lukewarm title with fun characters and old school gameplay. Check out the intro OST. It’s epic!
Forgot to update! Started the title day before yesterday before we started with Dexter and Homeland E2. We knew we wouldn’t be able to play the game after we’re done with the episodes!
The game packs so much fun and awesomeness! Ol’ school beat ‘em up titles are never boring and this reminded me of the Double Dragon days. I chose the Blue Knight (frost shards special attack) and my roomie opted for the Purple Knight (frog tongue shoot special attack). Completed several chapters, upgraded the abilities, beaten many bosses, unlocked some new weapons and we paused it. Before starting any mission, we stock up on the health bottles (5 seems to the max. limit) in case we end up getting owned. Loved the enemy variety – there are so many types of minions and different bosses and each boss battle seems to have a strategy to beat the guy. Hell even the soundtracks of the game are awesome.
Looks like a solid game to us. Will continue the game today.
The final boss battle was the best part! Well I don’t want to spoil it for others but those who’ve played it know what is in store. All in all a wonderful title and a time killer esp. when played in co-op. Must not have taken the two of us more than 6 hours as Allwyn had put it before.
Just noticed that my left thumb has turned black thanks to the shade of the analog stick.
