Need as cheap as possible BT headset or (preferred) something with a jack that you can attach a headphone to and turn it wireless. Not for me, quality only needs to be OK for occasional TV watching. battery life around 3hrs is ok I think, or even the normal battery ones. Should be somewhat reliable

Can’t find anything cheap to make a headphone wireless. Any other suggestion?

I think what you need is a bluetooth receiver.
Most of the devices are for car use (receive bt and output aux) and need external power (like plug into any car usb). Some of them have internal battery to run standalone. Found a few bluetooth receivers on amazon, some of them are even dual mode (receive and transmit as per your use, via a toggle).

Won’t those cheapo BT receivers used in cars work? My old crappy car doesn’t have BT. I bought a very cheap BT receiver, it sounds shitty, but does work.
