I did it recently
PV_197
Validity : 150 Calendar Day(s)
GEN_Plan_Voucher ( MRP In Rs.) : 197
GEN_Plan_Validity (in Days) : 150
Circle Applicable : PB
GEN_Voucher_Information : Unlimited Voice Calls + Unlimited Data (speed restricted to 40 Kbps after 2GB/day) + 100 SMS/day for 18 days + ZING.Freebies valid for 150 days only.
I use 365 days validity plan for 365rs, you get unlimited calls+data for first 2 months along with 12 month validity so just recharge for 10rs in case of emergency and use the number for an year.
I am using it in Lucknow so can confirm for UP East customers
I am using MTNL Sim for official documents (Aadhar, Bank, etc). It cost me 149 rs for 1 year validity. I have paid for 5 years in advance as they allow stacking like BSNL. Validity is shown as 2026. I am not sure what will happen when MTNL will be completely absorbed by BSNL. Does any body know what is the stacking limit for MTNL/BSNL?
I have a 2-3 year old jio sim, I still get incoming on it. Maybe its because it has always been online, as in always in my phone, or maybe I’m just lucky.
Edit: recharged once in last 2 years.
Sorry for the dug up the old thread, But my question as follows :
(1) Plan 197 offers 100 Days of validity with U/L Voice Calls for 18 Days or 100 Days - Please look into the attached rate chart picture. If anyone knows the answer or recharged recently - please reply.
(2) Plan 797 offers 365 Days of Validity but offers voice calls for 60 Days - Right?
Jio is a daylight CHOR! They do not care for their customers and will stop services either in 1 month or 3.
And this jio prime time etc. crap all sails in same boat unless on postpaid. They all carry same validity.
In case I will opt for bangladesh network but not jio if even such situation persists..
My 2nd number is on Vodafone and only use it for security-related OTP/AUTHENTICATIONS.
Only require access to Incoming/Outgoing Calls and the same for the SMS facility.
I am from Mumbai, what would be an ideal and trusted solution for cheap here? (if service is down, i am stuck)
I am ending up paying 200 approximately per month for Vodafone which includes data as well.
