Coming back from US, is it worth getting components for a high end gaming PC?

I will be coming back from US in a month or two. I am thinking of building a high end gaming PC once I get back to India. Would you recommend buying some of those components from US?

Only higher-end GPUs seem better priced in the US. Maybe a motherboard if that specific model is not available here.

You may find a decent deal on an SSD. Looks for international warranty though.

Thanks guys. I guess I will get an SSD and GTX 780 if budget permits.

Anybody has any recommendation on which brand to get for the graphics card so that I won’t face any problems with warrant and support?

If I may add, get a nice headphone.

Intel has global SSD warranty IIRC. Not sure about the videocard. Doubt there’s any.

Get a high end motherboard also, motherboard prices in India are a joke.

Try EVGA. I remember someone on the board saying he has been shipping his EVGA card to their offices in the US and has been getting a replacement each time.

I also heard that EVGA has a very good after-sales service there in the US. But i never knew that it was that crazily good. its quite shocking. :open_mouth:
