cooler master hyper 212+ vs. noctua nh u12p, which is best ?

guys as the summers arrives, cup temps are high like the sun

so need a suggestion that what is good in performance :-

1> cooler master hyper 212+ in push and pull mod

or

2> noctua NH u12P which is also a dual fan cooler .

like from the price i know hyper 212+ is for Rs. 1900 and a addition fan will cost Rs.450 …
near by Rs.2350 and a thermal paste to which will round up near by rs.2600.

and on the othe hand the noctua nh u12p is for Rs. 2500 and i think the past with it is also good

so for the performance wise going what is best for amd phenom ii x6 1055t ? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

if any more below Rs. 3000 plz suggest them o :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I am using the Hyper+ in Push - Pull config using the cooler master 90 CFM fans . Processor is E7500 @ 3.9 , almost a Gigahertz higher that the Normal . Its used for a 24x7 set up . Room temp is 22-23 . With 100% usage , i have never seen the temp going higher than 36-40 degrees under full load .

@fenix : bro a dual core and a hexa core is uncomparable for temp and that’s the reason i want to known alternatives for my 1055t

the hyper 212+ comes with thermal paste. and that a good one.

@ OP where are u getting Noctua NHU12P SE2 for 2.5 k

Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk

Its not a Dual core man , but a core 2 duo . I was trying to give u a fair idea about the cooling of Hyper + . Its a great VFM if combined with Good CFM fans and a great cabinet .

If you don’t plan to OC then the Hyper 212+ will suit you even light OC it will perform commendably but don’t ask for miracles, if you want a more heavy duty cooler then go for the Noctua NH U12P.

It all depends on the amount of OC you are thinking of doing. If it is more than 3.6Ghz Then the U12P is your best bet. Also, a TRUE with 2 fans comes to around 3k+cost of fans. You might want to check that out too.

@Fenix : no offence but i was saying 2 phycial core vs. 6 phycial core.

Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Costs Rs. 3750 and BTW TheITWares is the authorised dealer of Noctua Products…

i don’t know that above is se2 or not :frowning:

Golccha played me updated price :ashamed:.

@ alpha17 : then whats the real price ??? {end}

now if it’s more then Rs. 3000 so what are other option left for me ???

i need a cooler which can handle 3.8 ghz and 4 ghz but in Rs. 3000.

i was able to put my 1055t at 3.8 ghz stable but the temp were to high :frowning:

Hyper 212+ should do.

I’m using an old TRU in push pull and temps are on the borderline at 60. PS - I’m on 3.8Ghz stock voltage.

dude hyper 212 in push pull surpasses noctua nh U12P. check this out

Coolermaster Intel LGA775 Final Heatsink Temperature Comparisons - Hyper 212 Plus FrostyTech Review

for hyper 212+ the rise above ambient is only 16 degrees with only one fan as opposed to noctua’s 21 degrees

now u only tell me which is better;)

ok if gone with hyper 212+ then how are 2 delta 120 mm fans of 2 Scythe Ultra Kaze 120mm with it

or 2 Scythe Slip Stream 120mm

Scythe fans do not make good heatsink fans.

The stock blademaster fan that comes with Hyper 212+ is the best for it.

I would suggest getting another one, but you won’t notice that much of a difference if you are just cooling stock.

any other option for dual fans which is suitable for hyper 212+ which can keep my 1055t under 60 degree at 4ghz ???

yeah use the 90cfm coolermaster fans. its this one

Red LED Silent Fan 120mm - Cooler Master - Leading Provider of Computer Case | Cooler | Power Supply

costs 450 per fan. use two. its available on itwares

TheITWares - One Stop for all Gizmos!COOLER MASTER R4-L2R-20AC-GP 120mm Blue LED Case Fan

Just use another blademaster fan. Since you 212+ will already be coming with one, just add another.
