I’ve tried using a VPN etc. but I can’t seem to bypass the geo restriction. I need the app to communicate with associates based in China for work.
Any help would be much appreciated!

If you intended to use this for work/business. STOP right there. Don’t use anything which is officially banned by law-of-the-land.
Convey this to your associate and use something which is globally accepted.

China & Dubai are two region where its very very hard to communicate. One might not have much option check out if MS teams works.

Whats the challenge on vpn?
If its work related then ask them for a suitable vpn for seamless connectivity else try nord vpn etc.
You eventually have to enter an Indian no for verification. I tried using a Skype no (+1) but that failed too. I’m already using a VPN.

Unfortunately these apps are banned and no ways to easily bypass them. Also, ban is from china too.
