Hello guys

I want to buy a crimping tool, some RJ 45 pins and net cable and line tester.. we have 3 houses sharing internet with cables and routers..

now i dont use crimping tool everday, its kind rare use like once in a year if we want to move cables etc

please suggest me where can i buy it in cheap for tool, pins, cable… occasional use

I bought the crimping tool from a local shop. Don’t remember exactly, but I think I paid 300/- for it.
RJ 45 plugs cost 10 rupees each (dlink brand).
Also, I would suggested you to go for the best quality CAT 6 cable and RJ 45 plugs.

You should be able to buy all that from Amazon too.

I bought a RJ45 crimping tool for Rs.100 from Nehru Place few years ago. It is not of great quality but works well for occasional use.

It should be 100-150 in local shops.

@@Skyh3ck - Had been looking to buy network cable to upgrade my setup, and was able to dig out this recent discussion here on CAT 6A. I suggest you give it a read, if you haven’t seen it already.

Proving to be tricky to find these cables online though. Would appreciate suggestions/recommendations.
