I currently using CRT Monitors which is working fine since 5 years without
any problems and I need a TFT for my new pc.
So any ideas on TFT Monitors as I heard it supports only one resolution
compare to CRT .

one resolution.,..who told u that??
U can change resolutions but thing look good only on native resolution.
eg. 1440X900 for 19" Wide Screen and 1680X1050 for 22".
Usage??? Gaming, 3D Professional, Basic Home Usage???
If U r gamer then buy graphics card which can handle latest games on native resolution.
If U r not gamer then dont worry abt native resoltuion thingy.
Buy LCD panel which has lowest response time, higher contrast ratio, Input DVI, Tilt, height adjustment etc.
Dell 19" E198WFP and 22" E228WFP r best VFM LCDs in India.
IME games work reasonably well at non-native resolutions because the textures are anyway compressed and rendering happens at variable frame rates. The graphics card can be marginally compromised upon, as long as you are able to output a halfway decent frame rate from it at the same aspect ratio (proportion of w:h, for the new widescreens it is 16:10, and for regular displays it is 4:3 or 4:3.2) as your display. The ratio is important or the image will stretch in one direction.
The real problem is when you output a 2D still image on the desktop. At non-native resolution the card or the display (most of the times, the display) scales the image to the screen. This results in a blurry texture on LCDs, since they are fixed-matrix diplays (1 pixel = 1 unit of display). CRTs have no such issues as they use phosphor masks and the render is physically refreshed at the refresh rate, so the eye does not perceive the blur.
Nowadays cards can handle almost all resolutions out of the box, even though my (relatively new) Intel onboard graphics can’t output any resolution that is not hardcoded in the VBIOS - so no 1680x1050 loving for me out of that board but I got a card for that one anyway.
Just so you know, I would never go back to a CRT. LCDs run cooler, cause no eyestrain, and have a very small footprint. The issues with colour reproduction, ghosting and input lag are all but conquered, and LCDs now present good value and make a lot more sense than CRT right now.
