Can u tell me where can i get good cursors[without virus :face_with_tongue: ] or any software with which i can make some?

hey the cursors which i downloaded from wincustomize.com are sum other format.. how do i get the *.cur formats?

you have to install the cursor xp software in the 1st link to make them work. they are WAAAAY better than the regular windows cursors.

First install CursorXP.
They will work. Copy them into a folder and give the path address. You wonā€™t always get *.cur files.
I cannot remember all the menus of the software. Used them long ago when I had a special liking towards eye candies. Now, I lack interest. Because I have become old, you know. :rofl:

actually i wanted to use *.cur files in the VB program i am making :face_with_tongue: so is there any way i can get cur files from these?

You have to download cursors from Wincustomize.com. Some will be in *.cur format, as far as I can remember.

Just rename the .cursorxp theme files to .zip and extract them.

It will contain a set of pngs.

You can convert these to a .cur via some third party utility.

a very silly question how do i rename it? :face_with_tongue: when i jus rename it its name changes not the format.. :frowning:

hey i found out two mouse icon makers..

1.Art Cursors

2.Image Icon

Hmm.. well for this uā€™ll have to go to folder options menu in the control panel then click view and uncheck the option names ā€œHide extension of known file typesā€ apply then Okā€¦ and uā€™ll have the full filename wid extension to renameā€¦
