Delhi Meet Thread - 2014

TE has had awesome meets in the past and many of us have made good friends over the years.
We have had many new members over the past couple of years but no meets sadly.
Its time we have a meet in Dilli & get the ball rolling :slight_smile:

My suggestion:

**Venue - Connaught Place - Many choices where to hang out in CP.

Date - July 13 Sunday. Weather should be good by then :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Time - Lunch time 1 Pm or Evening 4 - 5 pm.**

Long time back, there used to be a popular show on Zee TV, known as ‘Hum Chaar’ in Delhi though. :face_with_tongue:

Sadly I dont understand why people dont reply and confirm if they are ok with the date and if so, time and venue suggestions.

Since nothing is final for tomorrow, we will have to delay this further.

Please suggest date, time & venue & then we can confirm it.

I think people get busy with their lives and meeting with online communities is not that important. Why don’t you guys think of meeting in Rohini. Metro can take you here easily from all corners of Delhi. Also for people coming from outside delhi it would be easier since it touches the outer ring road and its proximity closer to Karnal highway can invite more people from North India. Keeping the meet in CP will waste a lot of time in commute itself. Or I would suggest to make it early in the morning if it has to be CP only.

This is the typical problem with Delhi residents (not delhiites as not all are native to the city). In the past @@Spacescreamer and I tried to organize a meet but no one showed any enthusiasm. If you can fix something up then I will be happy to attend. I am fine with 20th as 13th (tomorrow) will be uncertain with not many people confirming.

So, 20th?

I only remember one successful Delhi meet. I guess asingh was a part of that. I remember they met at United Coffee House in CP. I might be still game for tomorrow if someone can make it happen. Doubt it though, so am good with 20th as well.
