Dell Inspiron 3000 i3 6th gen with RAM and SSD upgrade

Hi folks. Putting up my dad’s old laptop up for sale. It’s a Dell, bought in 2017. The laptop is old, but still works surprisingly well.
It came with 4 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD. I added an 8 GB (DDR4 2400 Mhz) stick later for a total of 12 GB RAM. Also replaced the HDD with an SSD. The RAM and SSD upgrade were done in November 2020.
The battery was replaced in Nov 2021 with this

and it has been working fine with decent battery life.
The laptop also has a DVD drive, if someone needs one. Unfortunately I haven’t a single CD/DVD with me to test if it’s still working. But my dad used to use it once in a while and it worked fine at last use.

The only issue is that the laptop fell down a couple of time. This happened because I inadvertently bought a low quality shoulder bag for it and the strap got unhooked when my dad was carrying it. First time he didn’t realize how it happened, so continued using it. Only the second time he realized that the strap clip was too weak to hold the laptop’s weight.
Unfortunately this caused some damage near the hinge as shown in the following images:

This happened more than 2 years ago. Note that the hinge itself is not damaged, it works perfectly fine, but the plastic covering is broken and the side has come a bit lose. So it needs to be handled with care.

My dad used it only for his office work. So the laptop has never been used a lot. Average usage would have been less than 30 minutes a day.

I don’t have the original box, so I would prefer a local deal. But can arrange shipping if I don’t find a local buyer.

I don’t know how to price something like this. On the one hand there’s the upgrades that I have made (RAM, SSD, battery), which increased the overall cost. On the other hand there’s the physical damage, which reduces the value in the buyer’s eyes a lot. So I’m putting a number here. Don’t bash me if you feel this is too high. Message me if you want it with an offer and we can discuss.

4k received as part payment from @@deadbynight .

Shipping booked via Delhivery. Remaining payment to be made when the product has been received and verified by him.

Paid up the rest (2.5K) upon receipt. Upon checking noticed 2 issues and @@gourav suggested that 500/- be refunded, which has been received by me.

Just to add, there were some issues I had failed to point out which the buyer noticed after receiving the product (screen marks and TouchPad reliability). While these issues didn’t change the core nature of the product, I felt I should have disclosed them earlier. Hence I offered to refund ₹500 to make the deal fairer to the buyer.
