Why, what’s the difference?
5700 has 16mb l3 cache, 5600/x and 5700x have 32mb.
5700 performs worse than 5600 in gaming due to this.
How much is the difference? Considering all other parts of the build to be identical, and only the processor different?

Thanks for sharing. Just watched. Why is the 5600 performing better than 5700 though? Makes no sense to me
Bruh I just said it above
My bad my bad
Can you suggest what’s the best bang for buck upgrade path for me if I have a Ryzen 2600, B450 mobo, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, and I only game at high settings 1080p 60fps?
5600 + rtx 3060ti, assuming you have a minimum 650W PSU
I have exactly 650w PSU. Should I upgrade the processor or GPU first?
Gpu mostly. High settings require a better GPU. If you’re budget constraint, can also look for 3600 / 3700x.
Nvidia GPUs have a driver overhead on CPU for some games. You definitely need a better CPU if you’re having an Nvidia GPU.
Yes, I think a 3-series processor with a 3060ti might be a good upgrade for a low cost. Thanks for your advice! I don’t think 3600 might be a worthwhile upgrade though, if I upgrade CPU I’ll get at least a 3700x.
Problem is 3700x would be costly. If you get it for less than 6k then it makes sense, otherwise for 8-9k might as well get 5600.
And yes 5600 is better than 3700x for gaming.
Get a Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX3070 GPU. That’s all you need.
1st upgrade the CPU and also update the bios and see for stability then buy the above GPU. Okay.
5600x and a decent gpu.
used 3070ti at 22k or 3080/3080ti from 28k to 35k would be best if you can get.
Are you sure cpu upgrade is the first he should go for? Best way is to see what’s at 100% usage and upgrade that. My bet is it would be GPU.
Sometimes CPU usage will not be 100% but still be bottlenecked because single or two core usage will be 100% but GPU will be lower than that.
Basically check if GPU is at 100% usage or not. If yes, then GPU upgrade, else CPU upgrade.
Will check this next time I play. Thanks
