Disable PC Speaker / Beep

Many users find the PC Speaker / Beep very annoying and want to disable it. So, here is the tutorial to do it:

  1. Right-click on My Computer and select Device Manager.

  2. Click on View->Show hidden devices.

  3. Click on the + sign before Non-Plug and Play devices.

  4. Right-click on Beep and select Disable.

  5. Click on Yes.

  6. Click on Yes again.

That’s it. Now your computer will automatically reboot and the PC Speaker / Beep will be disabled.
