I came across this interesting video by this person sharing his bad experiences with DJI product warranty.
His DJI mic Mini went kaput after 4 months and DJI refused to help as he had not purchased from Authorized DJI distributor.
His DJI Osmo stopped working after 1 year warranty but this he had purchased from Amazon and he was asked to pay 75% for the new replacement camera and his old camera would get him 25% off.
Now all this I am sharing only to let you guys know that try to check if your seller is DJI authorized seller or not before ordering.
This is one reason I always fear buying Chinese products . There service in India is very risky affair.
However, I had one of the extra part shipped by DJI distributor immediately as a part of Promo for a camera I had purchased from them. So as long as you doing from authorized seller . You should be okay I guess.
Compared to my gopro …which was replaced by Gopro even outside warranty period.( Gopro Subscriber) They came to my house took the camera and then after 10-20 days shipped new from Singapore all brand new.
