has anyone tried this? i know nokia says maximum capacity compatible is 2 gb. but i wanted to know if i can use a 4gb mini sd without any problems?
It will most probably work..

yes it will work no problem you need you check the memory statues is used 3.5 or 3.7 gb a
i have got mixed responses over the net. i googled around and have seen many people saying that a 4gb mini sd (not sdhc) works fine, but som say it doesnt.
anyone here on TE has tried this? 4gb mini sd (non sdhc) is gonna be difficult to find i guess.
may i ask what u going to do with 4gb of mem on a phone ? completely none of my business but how many hrs of music would u store and how many hours do u actually listen to the phone each day ?
^ i knew someone might ask that.
i listen to atleast 4-5 hrs of music everyday. also, almost all of my music is in 320kbps mp3 format so the file size is also large. currently i dont dont have any pmp and ill be buying one only after 2-3 months. so was just thinking if i can get a 4gb card for the phone.
i think ill just settle for 2gb now as i was using with my earlier phone.
no offence with what i asked , and yes sticking to the 2gb is a wise decision
Yea. It supports 4GB…
no offence taken.
its just that i was almost gonna buy a 2 gb card when a thought came in my mind if i could get a 4 gb instead.
Rahulrulez- have you personally tried it?
