Yep. You can.
One of my laptops is running win10 Home. Due to 4th-gen i7 processor, I canât upgrade it to win11. Have given that to one of my family members who uses it. He is not that tech-savvy, so no issues there.
remove windows 10 home and install ltsc. Trust me, they will love the cleanest install.

Its working without any issue right now, donât have time to look into it. will surely check once I get some free time.
Which LTSC should I INSTALL
USE ~some applications mainly related to mobiles and lotâs of mobile drivers ,browsing, watching some movie, play game like ark , stardew vally, Skyrim ae
You can go with Windows 10 LTSC 2021, thatâs the most recent and stable LTSC version, and should do everything you listed without any issues. Iâve used LTSC for similar stuffâtons of drivers for phones/gadgets, browsing, movies, and Steam games (ARK, Stardew, Skyrim AE) all worked fine. The only thing missing is the MS Store and some new features. Security updates are still regular and you avoid all the bloat.
If you have a system which is fairly recent you wouldnât find drivers for windows 10, better go with Windows 11 ltsc. I can speak from experience, had a terrible luck find mediatek drivers and some card reader drivers etc.
I installed Windows 11 iot LTSC 2024 version and used massgrave activation on it.
if you need microsoft store -
I prefer to use winget for all the downloads or you can use chocolatey as well.
Do follow this script of chris titus - https://christitus.com/windows-tool/
Although not required but certain things like classic right click and o&o shut up is good. You can install all the apps you need from there.
At my company, we have switched to win11 and there were no issues
I will miss Windows 10 a lot, Iâve been using Win 11 for some months and I gotta say nothing compares to the OG.
Just better
Companies have enterprise licenses and have a dedicated microsoft resource. Unless you work in the lala company which is not registered.
WIndows 7 was the goat even better was Windows XP
Guys I would seriously recommend linux as an option.
4 years ago I side-loaded (where u can use both windows and linux on the same computer) linux on my Windows 10 laptop and started using it. I started liking it and made it the default OS my laptop booted into.
Now its been about a year since i opened windows (even though it has been sitting quietly in my ssd all this time). Even when i used to open it, i opened it to either use a specialised windows-only software or a game requiring anti-cheat, both of which i donât use now.
