I just noticed that Airtel doesn’t stack prepaid recharges anymore if the plan is the same but the plan cost is different.
The recharged plan starts concurrent with the old plan although it rolls over anything that can be rolled over (data etc.). If you don’t recharge before expiry the ability to rollover is gone.
All they got to do is increase/decrease(unlikely) the price and there goes the ability to stack a recharge. A******s
The T&C at https://www.airtel.in/terms-conditions/prepaidvouchers doesn’t mention anything about this. This might be yet another dark pattern that one of our overlords referred to sometime back but does not appear to have done anything about.
Anyone else seen this / reported it anywhere and got any kind of resolution at all?
these buggers airtel and jio have an understanding by the looks of it and both are squeezing every penny they can get. I recently took a secondary sim from BSNl , luckily there is good reception near my home, although the data speeds are incomparable to airtel/jio for voice calls its very good so far. But its difficult to switch it as my primary due to network breaking here and there at hyderabad. How is VodafoneIdea by the way , anyone using it
Yes this is for Jio customers.
I think BSNL also needs to do something like this to provide cross support over other major brands so that customers might benefit from it a lot.
