Fair price to pay for 500GB Hard Disk

I’m planning to buy second-hand 500GB HDDs (FOR 1 OR 2 QTY) (100% HEALTH).
Can anyone suggest what would be a fair price to pay in today’s market?

That can be a new drive as well as a heavily used drive in good health.

check the smart data before buying.
700-800 max 1k would be the price, imo

35k power on hours means that it has been running for 4 years continuously which is quite a lot considering the typical life is around 50000 hours.
Smart data is more important than power on hours, you need to check seek error rate and read error rate.

I don’t see the point in buying a harddisk with 35k+ hours (unless its dirt cheap like < 500).

I often find 500gb hard disks for 1k - 1.5k on facebook marketplace. Take a look there, before you commit to this sale.

Frankly speaking, you are wasting your money. Get a used nvme/sata ssd from a reputed brand or even getting a cloud storage & using your internet connection for upload/download from it is better value for money in the long term.
