I’m persuing IT and I do play games but like minecraft, valorant, sometimes nightreign or elden ring.
After getting denied so many time, my family finally agreed to buy me a new pc.
I built my current pc by myself through savings, i5 4570, 750ti, 16gb ram 250gb ssd so I do have a little knowledge on how to attach parts but currently there are so many options I don’t know what to buy.
I am also interested in knowing if I should go for 2nd hand parts as the budget might not allow much. My main concern is if it will have any warranty, even 1-2year warranty goes long way.
If possible I want the case to be tiny
Idk what else to mention, I am very excited and nervous
I would say increase your budget, with a little bit of investment you can build a good PC, but if you can’t , you can buy second handed parts - but it’s just we can easily be scammed, buy monitor and peripherals in second hand, and invest in CPU and motherboard well, you can get graphics card in second hand as well - but do it with a lot of research
You can go for a any ryzen 7 or 5 cpu you can find for cheap.
You might be able to get a 9600x for cheap rn.
Gpu u can go for 9060xt or if u can find a cheaper used alternative that might not be a bad option, something like a 6700xt/3070 might be a good alternative.
Get any good b650 motherboard u can find for the cheapest, they are pretty cheap these days.
All this can be easily powered by 750 w psu.
This should all be under 50-60k.
You will still need to find a case ,and i have haven’t included peripherals, but that shouldn’t be too much more.
Do not buy a zebronics case. They are the bottom of the barrell chinese made garbo cases i have handled quite a few of them and all of them have issues.
You can also swap the AM4 combo for the above mentioned 12400F combo too and save few thousands. It might be a bit restrictive in upgrades but I don’t think you would be upgrading again on AM4 in any case.
All the zebronics cases i encountered had some issues such as io ports being damaged which was far too common, The power buttons always getting stuck and highly unwieldy cable management.
“decent” is purely according to your needs, you can survive with a 50-60k build but you will regret not spending more, it’s not like we are building pc like we buy mobile yk, good pc lasts longer
