I think someone recently posted about very poor experience with Lenovo Customer care in India.
You may want to read it before buying Lenovo. Ofcourse it maybe rare case but better to atleast read his experience .

Btw When is this sale going on?
Every 10 days after there is some sale now days. They mostly raise the price and then give discount for most stuff . Only few really get lucky these days with sales.
Note down the prices of the models you want before the sale. I was in the market for a Lenovo 4060 last sale and they raised the prices during sale and gave discount

I have a lenovo LOQ 4060(sorta customized model) ordered from lenovo site. After 1.5 year, it stopped turning on one day. I called them and raised a ticket, they replaced the motherboard in less than a week at my home. Wasn’t happy with the wifi on the new board, and they replaced the motherboard 2 more times that month, until I shut up about it. Overall, I think they warranty is quite good. Their technical experts leave a lot to be desired, but faulty parts, they don’t whine about replacing.( For some reason, I had bought extended premium warranty).

If I remember correctly…There was a news article about Chinese companies using substandard parts to repair in India compared to US and China.
I will check and try to find that article . This was quite some years ago but not sure if they improved now or still the same.
In anycase repairs in India requires you to have good luck too . Even with Dell there has been poor reports .

I read somewhere that electronics prices will come down due to gst reforms before diwali sale. Is that right?
The govt has hinted GST reforms before diwali but nothing has been concrete till now, its all speculation. I hope it comes down. I have many tech purchases lined up 
Tbh, I dont have high hopes as the revenue hit will be protested greatly by the states and states have equal say in GST reforms
Doubt this, most of the electronics is manufactured outside India. I think there will be some categories which may see 5% gst but most will remain at 18%.

Yeah don’t know whenever sales arrives instead of decreasing the price many time they increase it lol 
Don’t know man one time I had watched 2tb external hard drives around 5 - 5.5 k, 16 Gb crucial ddr4 laptop 3200mhz ram @ 2700 & many more don’t know if these prices will ever come back
