Gecube puts 2GB memory on Radeon HD 3870

From the well-known series “What, too much?” graphics card builder Gecube has announced that it made a Radeon HD 3870 card with no less of 2GB of on-board memory. Based on the already popular 55nm RV670 chip, the new card offers DirectX 10.1 capabilities, PCI-Express 2.0, 320 Stream Processors and CrossFire X support.

The 2GB card is equipped with the X-Turbo III silent fan and it seems to be clocked at 825 MHz (GPU) and 1740 MHz (memory). Gecube’s new 3870 offer is expected to hit the stores soon but its price tag is currently unknown.
