Not only is GFN coming to India, but the servers are also going to be run by Nvidia themselves like in the US and EU West. I am definitely interested to see how it works out.
Considering our market, the free tier is going to be in high demand if they do decide to launch it. When I tried it on SG servers a while ago, I found the process of playing games had too many steps for a cloud gaming provider. I also had issues with changing and saving graphics settings to tune the experience to my liking. Let’s see how much they have improved since then.
I feel like it’s cheaper to play games on Geforce now than to build a real machine.
Pretty excited to see how the response will be in India. Hopefully this might give boost to the Indian gaming scene.
Looks like they have not shared any info on pricing. Curious to see if they will have regional pricing or just go with INR conversion of their USD prices.
Wow. Can’t believe what I just read. Cloud gaming, powered by 5080 like gfx. This type of news usually comes on 1st April, but this is real!
isnt this mostly good only for sp games not mp
Nice, hope it has some sort of regional pricing less than the USD rate. Can mostly settle for the Performance tier as 100 hours is more than what I get to spend on gaming over a month. Only bummer is that HDR is supported only on the Ultimate tier which is something that would be required when playing on OLED screens.
Having all Steam Cloud as well as GamePass games accessible is a huge plus. Definitely wouldn’t be spending on hardware upgrades anytime soon.
