AFAIK, it’s working for all vehicles regd. from 2002 onwards.
Mine was a 2006 model. It did not work.

I got a “NO default configured”. What does that mean.
While driving any vehicle you need to have Original RC with you. So no use showing the SMS to cops.

Tried bot got " No Default Configured " For maharashtra vehicle.
“No Default Configured” for both of my vehicles. One is Mumbai registered and the other one is Nashik registered. Any clues, anyone?

It was working a day back but today i tried for my car and i get no default configured.
I feel that this faciltiy is quite good. Imagine a hit and run case, just immediately note the Regn No. and can trace the owner quite easily and quickly.
I guess this scheme will be scrapped.It came in yesterdays newspaper.Lot of flake received by bandraites in mumbai regarding stalking with details especially page 3 ladies.All Rto and agencies refuse to know about this service.They are ready to scrap it.
That is the first thing that came to my mind. I am not confortable with such open level of information. Specially in our crime infested cities.

^^ iam getting correct information on site. Though via sms it just tells me when the RC is expiring for our vehicles.
