You will get details in seconds.
So if any Traffic Police is arguing with you regarding the documents , then just show the message.

It appears the vehicle needs to be registered in some database electronically. Tried sending the SMS and the response read:
“[GJ 5 XX XXXX] Vehicle Details Not Found. Verify the Vehicle No or Contact Registering Authority for digitization the details.”
So? Anything immoral about sharing something useful?

Did not work for my bike, but worked for my car. I think only the vehicles having smart card registrations are showing up in this records.
