Office and even personal use , when you run lan cables for extenders for better reliability. Or even direct to devices .

What is the typical power consumption of the 24 port un/managed switches with 4-5 connected devices ? Product page says 45/60 something at peak usage.

Yeah I think even the managed ones list about 35W peak. Check the sheet I linked, I have mentioned datasheets for all of the models
