Yes amazon wasn’t working for me.

Is this the reason why I was kicked out of an online game I was playing :twelve_thirty:

amazon.in is working

Even Whatsapp is working.

Wait, is Reddit also affected? I keep getting rate limited messages, even on different IPs.

No Reddit working for me.
Even Steam working for me but in reddit some are saying that steam community market isn’t opening.

Enjoy a true Diwali outside with your family and say your thanks to AWS.

Yes, I am getting the same error. I tried using different VPNs, UK works sometimes.

What is meant by AWS?

Amazon Web Services

Okay I didn’t know this. :joy::rofl::laughing:

Only us-east-1 was affected in AWS but no complete outage, and I myself was logged out of majority of the servers. Including TE. I always assumed TE was self hosted and managed by renegade and puns.

But it seems to be hosted on cloud

Same here. You cleared it for me as well

Seems Bangalore not affected

Is TE self hosted on us-east-1 EC2 instance?

I just got fired from AWS.

Apparently you can’t “stress test” us-east-1 by unplugging the internet for the whole planet.

Anyone hiring?

Highly unlikely.

Since majority users are indians, I dont see why they wouldn’t use asia region.

Also, TE runs on discourse so it most likely is hosted on EKS but considering recent migration it could be running on docker within ec2 instances. Regardless of how it’s hosted, us-east outage will have cascading effects to rest of the regions in one way ir another.
