I’m looking to get an Android phone repaired. It blanked out on me and I need to access the data. Giving it to an official shop means they do a clean wipe and I cannot let that happen. Have you used any repair shops that can work diligently to repair / boot up the phone so that I can move / backup the data and figure out next steps with it?

Finding a repair guy is easy but most guys don’t wish to use their time on data backup.

Isn’t rooting something people did on their own? I am sure if there is a way to root a phone, xda would have the info. Shop people can or cannot do I have no idea sorry. I am primarily an iOS user.
