GPU for P35 chipset,core2quad

Hi everyone,
I have a PC with the following configuration.
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
MSI P35 Platinum combo
Transcend DDR2-667 RAM 2GB
DELL SP2008WFP 20" LCD (1680x1050)
XFX 8600GT - Dead

Recently the capacitors on my 8600GT popped and now I can’t boot the PC as there are no integrated graphics. I need to buy the best possible GPU under 5k for my rig.
Please suggest good cards.

I believe these things should be kept in mind…

  1. DirectX 11 or 10 support.
  2. Compatibility with the MB. e.g. the P35 chipset used on my MB only supports DDR2-667 and 800 RAMs only. But with overclocking it can also support DDR2-1066. So I wanted that I get a card which can be fully utilized by my MB.
  3. It should be atleast 512 MB.
  4. Availability in India (Delhi). Preferably Nehru Place. This is a list of parts easily available. www.costtocost.in/list/pricelist.pdf
  5. The cooler the better. As it is heat is a big issue.

If your 8600 is in warranty then get it replaced since this damage is covered in warranty.
