Got 2 of these for around 2K Each. For that price, it is a steal.
If you buy 2, you get 10% discount and then 5% additional discount on Amazon Pay Icici card in the form of cashback.

Got this for few months back for 999 Rs, so far working well without any trouble.
Man I’ve had this in my cart forever, but didn’t buy it because no returns/replacement and I’ve had an iffy experience with a wavelink dingle in the past.
Have you by any chance used it with a MAC before?
I will be using it with a Mac primarily. Seems like no issues with the product, based on the reviews.
heh
all Indians are my brothers and sisters ten characters
Can you let us know what chipset it is?
Realtek - RTL8156B
How hot does it get on heavy loads or sustained workload
I dont see any substantial deal on this. If you look at 90D pricing, it used to be same
On purchase of 2 you get additional 10% and then card discount. For 2k you are getting a 5Gbe. I was about to pull the trigger at 3k.
I dont use it for heavy downloads, but for regular activities, never noticed any heat on this. In fact i got second one for M1 MAC also.
Also used to transfer > 100 GB of photos from samsung phone to NAS through 2.5G switch. Its also works with iPhone too.
Yep, you can use usb network adapters with phones:
Pretty cool way to transfer large files.
That is one of my use case with these. ![]()
Non pro iphones dont have usb 3.
So speed sucks. Wireless is better.
For laptops and mac its fine. But you get wifi 6e and 7 with latest laptops and mac and mobiles. So I guess its just personal choice or old hardware now.
And soon govt will allow lower 6ghz band for wifi so we can use it legally now![]()
Mine is 15PM, Of-course i never tried to lot of data transfer. Just used to test openspeedtest hosted in my local server.
Haver you receive yours and tried them out?
Have a same brand similar one from China for similar price. Probably same Realtek chip just small design changes.
It works great and if you have a network capable of using it, then go for it.
Yes, I have. Everything working as it should be. No heating and no lagging. Works well with Linux and Mac out of the box. Sent around 1TB of data, speed was hovering around 450 MB/s
