How is your experience with an eSIM adapter that replaces a physical SIM? I’ve read mixed reviews so far. Please share your experience.
OLD POST:
I need to buy a phone for around 25k, could increase it to 30k max if needed, but 25k seems a sweet spot. Will be buying during the upcoming sale.
My priorities are eSIM and a long battery life/SOT. eSIM because I have to travel 2-3 times a year, and it would be so much better if I can just buy an eSIM before landing and don’t have to search for physical SIMs.
A good camera is also a nice bonus, but not the main priority. Gaming is also not a top requirement. I play games very rarely on my phone.
I hate Samsung OneUI, never liked it even though I had A series phones before. Their warranty support is also going downhill going by reddit accounts. I prefer clean UI like Pixel, but Pixel phones seem to have terrible SOT/battery life and subpar chips. I would prefer a phone with 8-9 hours of SOT minimum.
Right now the only good option seem to be Motorola Edge 60 Stylus. OnePlus Nord 5 and CE5 would be good if they had eSIM.
Are there any new models launching with eSIM support?
I read online that adapters are not compatible with all networks in different countries. They have very less chance of working with a random cheap network than a phone with default esim support. I am not sure if that is true or not.
