**Motherboard:**Feel like intel is better

Display resolution : Min:1,600 x 900 Max :1900 x 1080 preferably MAX (1900 x1080)

Most laptops these days face heating issues due to powerfull hardware cramp into small chassis. How does this laptop fares with other laptop manufacturers ? Anybody using this laptop could share valuable info regarding Samsung ?

How is Asus K55VM series laptops ? Reviews on google suggest it also faces heating issues. Anybody using Asus laptop could guide in this matter.

Bought that Samsung NP550P5C-S02IN laptop last month from flipkart.

Pros:

  1. 1600x900 display
  2. internal speakers are good
  3. good value for money
  4. adjustable fan speed - silent,normal,turbo
  5. gpu GT 650M can run games at decent fps at mid/high at 1600x900
  6. all ports at left and right side, nothing at backside
  7. 2 xusb3.0 and 2 xusb2.0 ports, the usb 3.0 support usb charging feature
  8. recovery software is very good
  9. easy to replace ram/hdd/odd
  10. blue ray combo reader

Cons:

  1. no backlit keyboard
  2. excessive heat , should buy a good cooler.
  3. 5400 rpm HDD

Thanks for sharing the info. As per cons of laptop, do excessive heat results in total shutdown of laptop or heat is manageable by cooling fans of laptop ? Could u just elaborate on this issue..:slight_smile:
