I bought a new Dualsense for the first time, and was trying to connect it to PC using USB A to C cable as PC does not have bluetooth.
But My PC is not detecting the controller at all.
However, it’s been detected by two other laptops with the same USB cable.
Things I tried:
Re-Install Windows on PC
Changed cable to another one.
Installed DualsenseX and it’s drivers.
Changed USB port to 3.2 , 2.1 , 2.0 and every port on PC.
Upgraded Firmware of Dualsense using Laptop,
Reset Dualsense.
Changed Power Saving to off for USB ROOT HUB 3.0 .
Connecting it while flashing Blue.
Even after then, PC is not detecting it, while it works on laptops?
Does anybody know the issue?
Is it detects in device manager or not (open device manager and plug if device manager refresh then it’s drivers problem try to install driver with signature off in window)
If you have steam installed, check it on controller settings?
When connected with USB 3.2 and USB 3.0 ports , device manager does not refreshes at all on PC, but with USB 2.0, it gets refreshes but shows no new device.
I checked using USBTreeview, and found that with USB 2.0, dualsense get connected ( GENERIC USB HUB detected in USBTreeView ) but then immediately disconnected with PC.
I even removed xHRC ( Host Controller ) and installed new chipset drivers from both Asus and Intel but nothing works.
What’s more surprising is that it only happens on PC, while controller gets connected everywhere, even on TV.
The problem is that PC is not detecting controller, even in BIOS ,even in Safe mode.
I even Reinstalled windows, and also installed a fresh one! , even then dualsense does not get detected by PC in device manager.
Looks like a hardware or driver issue with usb
