I want to buy good DVR preferably with 1080p or 2K resolution and 8 Cameras (with Audio Support) for my home, I don’t have knowledge about this, Local Vendors here recommend HIKVISION or DAHUA brands, my Budget is max Rs.20000, Please suggest what to do now? Please reply soon. I need to install these as soon as possible. Thank You.

Recently i installed vigi NVR with poe based cameras from tplink. I scouted in the market for a while and somehow didn’t have trust on these brands like hikvision, cp plus as they dont have good software. I bought all these hardware from Amazon and then had a local installer. It’s little over 20k but i felt it’s worth. You can try to get all hardware and get it installed yourself to save a ton. I was quoted around 89k for hikvision 8 camera setup from a reputed cctv branch in Bangalore.
Please list the items and setup . Have exact same requirement and was planning for VIGI only
My requirement is 4 Camera only with NVR having capability to add more . VIGI has 4 , 8 or 16 so will go for 8 Channel but in camera looking for 4MP or 8MP only
And all will be ethernet
You can buy cameras and other equipments from FGTech website. Would be cheaper compared to Amazon or other marketplaces.
