Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my Xiaomi QLED TV Q1 (55-inch model). When I turn it on, the screen shows color flashing (like red, green, blue patterns) on a loop. I’m not sure if this is a mainboard issue or if the TV has entered some kind of testing/factory mode. I’ve also noticed that when I press random buttons on the remote, the screen dims briefly and then returns to full brightness.
Has anyone experienced this with their Smart Tv? If it’s in testing mode, does anyone know how to exit it for this specific model? I’ve tried rebooting and checking the settings but no luck so far. Could this be a hardware problem with the mainboard? Any recent solutions or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I am not sure but major brands like LG/Samsung/Sony do provide it with charges I think. You will have to contact the support to see if Xiaomi provides paid support visit.
Try this - Turn off the TV, unplug the power cable. Press the power button on the TV 3-4 times, than hold it for 10 seconds to completely discharge the caps.
Then leave the TV as it is.
Then turn it on the next day, the longer the wait the better.
seems like a good fix, ill make the courage to do this if nothing works as its hard to find someone trusted who will not quote crazy amount if the problem was genuinely this small.Man i wish i had the money and brains to diy anything, seems like a life hack!
