Hi! This is actually for a friend. He wants to buy a Home Theatre (5.1 setup) and his budget is** 5-6k**. I’m not very acquainted to any home theatre systems so I thought I’ll post here for options he could buy from.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I think in that budget, he will only get Home-Theater-In-A-Box (HTIB) setups of brands like Samsung, LG, Philips. Sony, AFAIK, starts above 10k.

check out products from Mitashi.. their ht’s might fit in ur range…
and no, they dont sound any better or worst then their counter parts from sony, philips or any other at the similar price range
Askmhim not buy for5-6K and get some more money in due time and buy a good HTIB.
He will probably end buying agood one sooner or later, then y waste money now.
If he is not at all willing to extend budget, you can look at philips entry level HT systems. They start from 5-6K
Mitashi would be choice given your Budget constraints…
