Today I got a Laser Mouse. (Review is coming soon)
I want that when I am ‘working’ I want to use my Logitech Basic Optical Mouse (PS2).
But when I want to ‘game’ I want to switch to the Laser Mouse (USB)
Can it be done ? How ?
(I prefer not to plu-unplug cables every time)

All you need is a orange box, microwave oven along with two mice and not to forget the comp with a internet connection… Switch on the comp… Install orange box and update portal… play portal and figure out the rest

You can’t hot swap a ps2 mouse. If you had 2 USB mice it would have been no problem.
But nuke666 is probably right..plug in both of them, and disable/enable them from device manager.
i had used a ps/2 + usb mouse together for many months without any probs 
i didn’t disable any mouse either

i just connected the usb mouse & removed logitech mouseware

Nope i dont think you need to.
Should work keeping both plugged in at the same time. Am doing the same thing with my MX-518 and MS optical basic. I use the MX and the rest of the family uses the MS. Keeps their grubby paws off the MX.
Just plugging-unplugging should do i think. afaik you can use only one at a time
