I was looking to get a used nintendo wii few years ago and found someone selling it for about 4k .
the condition looks alright , is that price on the higher side for a very old system?
As I see some listed for between 3300-3500rs. Can negotiate for 3.5k as it has no games. Why not use Emulator?
i want my kids to use the controller to play games like tennis and badminton for fun, emulation?
4k is a steal for Wii if working properly and if its modified then you should go for it.
It is not about old it is about the value it still has.
Just you thinking of buying this old console shows how special it is even today.

true it was revolutionary when it launched , even today keeping aside the graphics quality the game play is intuitive and fun when playing with the remote so thats why i had my eye on it, if kids want TV anyways it better to give them something engaging rather than crappy youtube videos
I kept telling one of my family members not to buy ps5 for their kids. 5 year old.
Buy Nintendo Switch modified. But they wanted latest and greatest and went and bought it.
Nintendo is ideal video games for kids. Giving them cute characters instead of gore and violence.
I mean I know ps5 too has some of those type games like astrobot etc but its few in numbers.
We agreed for 3500. Any tips on what i need to check for before paying. He doesnt currently have any games so not sure how to go about it
Buy a wii game or borrow to atleast check if the disc drive is working and reading the games properly..
Try to get or borrow some motion sensor games.
To check if controllers and motion working fine.
3500 is a great price. This console was way ahead of its time in terms of motion gaming and gameplay (not graphics but they are cute )

When I was 5, if I asked for even a toy car, all I would get was a slap and a samosa
