My friend’s comp keeps on restarting. The computer would get to the WELCOME screen, start loading the user settings and then would reboot. Once or twice it would get as far as the desktop. He is unable to log on in safe mode. How do u do that. He has got WinXP Pro SP2.
To start XP in safe mode:
When the pc is booting just before windows starts loading up press F8 to get the safe mode menu.
i have ASUS A8NE-SLI mobo,but my one boots 2 safemode on F5!
F5 = safe mode
F8 = provides Menu to choose from
