As per power bank specifications, its possible to charge laptop using slow (with slow charging)
I tried to charge laptop using Type-C to Type-C cable which came alongwith power bank but it does not works.
Tried to charge using mobile adapter USB to type-C cable but did not work too.

Am I doing something wrong, or need a different type of cable.
AI says, its possible to charge but not sure what/where is wrong.

Check screenshots for more details:

Most probably it’s lack of adequate power. Your laptop requires 200w but your powerbank has max output of 100w. That might be the issue.

Also try updating the thunderbolt driver. Sometimes driver is the culprit

As per power bank support, charging will work but (laptop will be charged slow and should be used for non-gaming moderate work only)

Could u let me know the output voltage from the powerbank. If it’s not 20v it won’t work as the laptop only takes 20v as input.

On further research I Found that apparently your laptop doesn’t support charging through tb 4 port😞

Collected that info from official page - UGREEN 100W Power Bank - 20000mAh Portable Charger – Ugreen India

Does that means, I can only charge laptop using available adapter and no other way >?

Can i use USB-C to DC adapters/cable ?
If so, can you suggest me right model from amazon.in ?

They have many different models of adapters, i think there is a slight change in size and/or power, not sure which one would work with my laptop

Tbh. Even I don’t know will that work or not. I had the same thing in my mind long back but dropped the plan because I felt it would be risky.

They are available on conceptkart for cheaper.

If you want to try it then order the one which has outer diameter of 6mm and iner diameter of 3.7mm. That’s the size of your charger’s barrel jack.

The type c port on your laptop is for connecting display not power adapter. Yes you can try using the type c to dc adapter, should work.

Models from 2023 onwards also support pd charging on usb c tb 4

Nothing mentioned in laptops official specifications for this port to be used as power input. Even the image posted by op exclusively mentions display port/ gsync..

Just testing/trying once/twice can create big issue ? to check if its working or not ?
