How to Manage Users In Xp home??

Hello friends,

i wanna know how to manage users thru administrator in Windows XP Home Edition ?? i got a compaq presario v3000 and it contains win xp home edition.. i log on in safe mod n log onto administrator but it has no users option in compmgmt.msc?? :huh:

XP Professional is much better dan home edition

PS: The Titile shld b Manage Users In XP Home Mis Type

why do u need to log on in safe mode to manage users?

cos i think i cant log in as administrator in Win XP Home in normal mode…

You can log in as Admin in normal mode.
When the User Login screen is displayed press CTRL ALT DEL twice and you’ll get a login prompt like Window 2000 where you can put Administrator as the username and the password.

Btw .. User management console is :
Start > Run > LUserMgr.msc {Press Enter}

ya i tried dat..

actually i changed the login mode to the “Enter username” mode only..

n when i give the administrator name n password

it givs n error saying Cannot login to account cos of sum restriction or sumthing

nope i still cudnt find the inbuilt user management Microsoft console file… i think i need a 3rd party software to manage users i guess…

so that means another account with full administrator rights is available to you from where u can manage users. that account must be the account u login to, right?
