I have to ship documents to Copyright office, they have the number 011-28032496 and i am not able to use it with online booking. What to do now?? need to go speedpost offline? they have online portal but it is not taking these numbers.
government system is really bad. despite online submission, have to ship the printed docs.

We did almost a decade ago for a sports apparel website iirc. We even had to send demand draft for that. ( i dont know if they accepting online payment now for the processing fees)
How much is the fees btw? if you dont mind sharing that.

We could not get the process done. it got rejected because it need more documents and then Family member health needed complete care.

copyright charge is 500 only and payment is made online. they want printed document with sign. the issue is the number, it is landline so i can’t book shipment. what to do? how offline guy will enter the number in system? thinking to put my own number and if get a call, direct to landline one.
it is kinda urgent, need to reach it before 15th Sep.

Nothing you can do other than put some mobile number there for sake of formality. Also, are you using speedpost service of govt post office because last time I checked they didn’t ask for receiver’s phone number.

Don’t use that for such cases, go to local post office & book from there. Govt offices anywhere in India don’t have any mobile number as such, only landline numbers. How do you think people still able to send their printed ITR forms to Bangalore IT dept office for processing via speedpost?
clearly shows government system is ugly. need to visit and waste an hour now to ship a document.
You never wasted 2-3 hours in any SBI branch I guess. 
sbi has improved a lot, my savings account opened in an hour, one guy personally helped setting up yonosbi. there are lots of customer in sbi so i understand the delay. i must say, gov banking is tough job.
Why not pvt courier?
Put your own number. What’s the worst going to happen? They’d call you for directions.
Depends on your luck. Sometimes the staff posted in local branch is nice & helpful. Also, I believe there are instructions from top mgmt to open new customer accs via Yono app because the offline way of opening accs via filling a form is still a valid option as per RBI/banking rules.

Speedpost delivery person typically never call.
yes they often delay the delivery but my speedpost guy know me very well due to multiple shipments so the online shipment should work too, but i will visit tomorrow and ship offline.
Why not put your number? No one is going to pick up the phone in the government office anyway.

Put your own number. And send it using SpeedPost offline from the post office near you. You don’t want to receive the delivery OTP. SpeedPost is faster than many private couriers like fedex, delhivery etc.
I suppose the office is in a metro city. SpeedPost delivers most metro packages overnight or within a maximum of 2-3 days. Don’t fret.
Still better than me. I had to submit the final-year computer program in Java source code as a bound book.
