How to stop windows vista from automatically creating restore points??

Windows vista creates restore points every day.As a result the restore points i made have been automatically deleted:( :frowning: .How to prevent windows vista from automatically creating restore points. Also is there any way to return to the state when windows vista was first installed without reinstalling vista.

Disable System Restore. To do this, Press [Windows]+[Pause Break] to get to System Properties, then go to System Protection and Uncheck all partitions.

You can use Acronis TrueImage to create an Exact copy of your OS and then restore it.
